Upper receivers are a key component of firearms like the AR15 platform. They house crucial parts such as the barrel, bolt carrier group, and handguard. Upper receivers can be swapped to change the firearm caliber, barrel length, and overall performance. This customization allows shooters to adapt the gun for various uses, like target shooting or home defense.
